To Read

Download the Press Reader App and use your Cambridgeshire Library card to access magazines such as BBC Good Food and Kitchen Garden for free. Why not also try out our e-magazine offering on RBdigital - instructions for downloading the app can be found on our website in Online Services.

To Try

Have a look at this guide from Delicious magazine. We might be out of lockdown but the courses are still available!

To Watch

British Food Fortnight is the national celebration of the diverse and delicious food that Britain produces.  It takes place every Autumn in the last week of September and the first week of October, at the same time as Harvest Festival, the traditional time for celebrating our food.  It might be over for this year, however you can still watch the Love British Food Ambassadors demonstrating their cookery skills on the videos filmed during the Festival.

To Explore

Go for a stroll through our local countryside and stop for a hot drink and snack whilst enjoying the views.  Or sit in your armchair at home and visit a virtual food festival, seeing what Britain's artisanal makers are offering for Christmas!

To Listen

Check out Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert on BorrowBox and listen to her story or how about a bit of humour with Douglas Adams' book The Restaurant at the End of the Universe!  Instructions for downloading the app can be found on Cambridgeshire Libraries website.

To Meet

Want to meet friends for brunch? How about trying a restaurant/cafe in Cambridge or Peterborough. The long hot summer days might be over but it's still great to meet up somewhere to chat and enjoy the food.
