Join us in Ely library (twinned with Sambir Library in Ukraine) to experience Ukrainian food, Ukrainian crafts, telling of a Ukrainian Folk Tale by Daria Kulesh and a music concert by Mariia Petrovska.
Mariia Petrovska combines a complete mastery of the bandura with a pure, emotive voice, making Ukrainian traditional music sound utterly fresh and contemporary. In her native Ukraine, she was a multiple award winner. After the Russian invasion, she came to live in the UK and is studying songwriting and performance at British Irish Modern Music University (Manchester).
