Unearthing Curious Cures: a panel discussion

  • Milton Road Library Ascham Road Cambridge, England, CB4 2BD United Kingdom (map)

A panel of gardening historians and medieval medicine experts dig up stories of illness, resilience, experimentation and the quest for health.

Join the live audience for an event being filmed at Milton Road Library. Medievalists James Freeman and Hannah Bower with gardening historians Advolly Richmond and Emma Wayland will discuss the healing power of plants through the ages.

Please note: a film crew will be present at Milton Road Library to livestream and record the event as part of the Living Knowledge Network's Unearthed series of events. Please arrive for a prompt start at 3pm.

This unique event is inspired by Cambridge University Library's Curious Cures exhibition and Unearthed: the Power of Gardening, a free display based on a major exhibition currently at the British Library which will be at Cambridge Central Library during July and August .
