Join us at Yaxley library for a fun packed summer of events based on the theme of Story Garden for this year’s Summer Reading Challenge.

Thursday 24 July - Wonderful Wings - 10:30am-12:00pm - £1

Take off with our wonderful wings craft!  Which animal wings will you choose to make?

For children aged 4+ - Booking Required. 

Thursday 29th July - Nature Scrapbook - 2.00pm-3:00pm - £1

Do you like exploring the outdoors? Then make your own nature scrapbook where you can save all your wildlife finds!

For children aged 4+ - Booking Required. 

Thursday 31st July - Wicked Theatre Workshop - 9:30am-12:30pm - Free

Learn drama skills and techniques and rehearse the play ‘Wicked’, which you will then perform to your parents at the end of the session.

For children aged 5-11 - Booking Required. 

Saturday 9th August - Crazy Cress - 10:30am-12:00pm - £2

Go wild and make a crazy cress head this summer.  What will yours look like?

Thursday 14th August - Grandpa’s Garden - 10.30am-12.00pm - £1

Come along for a story time and craft activity based around the book, Grandpa’s garden by Stella Fry.

For children aged 4+ - Booking Required.

Tuesday 19th August - Magic Beanstalk - 2:30pm-4:00pm - £2

Decorate a jar and plant a bean inside so you can watch it grow! 

For children aged 4+ - Booking Required.

Saturday 30th August - Spoon Scarecrows - 10:30am-12:00pm - £2

Get creative making your own spoon scarecrow!  Then put it in your garden to keep your plants safe.
