Anthony Blunt and the Cambridge Spies, with author Piers Blofeld

  • Rock Road Library 69 Rock Road Cambridge, England, CB1 7UG United Kingdom (map)

Join Piers Blofeld to learn the shocking untold story of Anthony Blunt, one of the infamous Cambridge Spies.

Based on extensive research and newly released documents, Piers’ book Master of Lies builds the vivid and compelling proposition that Anthony Blunt was not simply “the fourth man” in the Cambridge spy ring, but actually the greatest spy-master of them all, guilty of almost limitless treachery.

Master of Lies reads like the best of jaw-dropping spy stories, and proves the old adage true: “you couldn’t make it up”.

Piers Blofeld is a literary agent with a long career in publishing. Born and bred in Norfolk, his surname made it all but inevitable that he would nurture a fascination with supervillainy and spying.

Talk plus refreshments. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.

Doors open from 7pm.

Tickets £3. Please book in the library or contact libraries.referralcentre@cambridgeshire.gov.uk
