Join us at St Ives Library as we dive into the history of...

The Watermills and Landscape of the River Great Ouse

The watermills on the Great Ouse were once the most valuable in England. They brought wealth, but also legal disputes, riot and civil disobedience, and left a legacy visible today in the streams and channels criss-crossing the river meadows. There’s so much to explore, so come along and join us!

Please stay for a warm drink and a chat afterwards.

This is a free event, but we kindly ask for a donation to help support future events.
