Engage: RAF Photographic Reconnaissance

  • Buckden Library Burberry Road St. Neots, England, PE19 5UY United Kingdom (map)

The old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words was never more truly demonstrated than through the development of photographic reconnaissance.

The technique was a key contributor to intelligence throughout the Second World War and greatly contributed in securing the Allied victory.

Hear James Blackwood from RAF Wyton talk about its beginnings in WWI, throughout WWII and beyond.

Free event, donations welcome.

Book your place by email stneots.referral@cambridgeshire.gov.uk or at Buckden Library.
