Engage: The Art & History of Haiku

  • Huntingdon Library and Archives Princes Street Huntingdon, England, PE29 3PA United Kingdom (map)

Local poet Stuart Henson, looks at the art and history of Haiku, a popular type of short form poetry which originates in Japan.

Taking inspiration from Stuart’s latest poetry collection “A Handful of Wasps” and the wonderful illustrations by Houghton -based artist Bill Sanderson, we'll be discussing the smallest of poems, often inspired by nature, which cultivate the art of looking.

FREE talk (donations welcome). Adults only. Booking required. Ask at Huntingdon Library, call 0345 045 5225, or email Huntingdon.Referral@cambridgeshire.gov.uk
